De Abus Purl-Y is een NTA 8776-gecertificeerde helm in blauw, maat L (hoofdomtrek 57-61 cm), speciaal geschikt voor speed pedelecs, e-bikes en snorfietsen tot 45 km/u. In Nederland is het wettelijk verplicht om op een speed pedelec een NTA 8776-gecertificeerde helm te dragen — de Purl-Y voldoet aan deze norm. Het afneembaar vizier beschermt de ogen bij hoge rijsnelheden.
