This grey derailleur pad from Marwi, type GH-227, replaces the frame hook on which the rear derailleur is mounted. Marwi supplies this model as a replacement for bikes from Bergamont. A derailleur pad is deliberately made weaker than the frame, so that it bends when dropped or knocked and the frame remains intact. With a straight pad, the derailleur sits neatly under the cassette and the gears run as they should. If you’re unsure whether this is the right model, compare the contours and the position of the holes with the pad that’s currently on your bike.
